Regattas for vintage and classic sails

The Viareggio Historic Sails Gathering is organized by the association of the same name and the Club Nautico Versilia.
An event reserved for vessels belonging to the Vintage Yacht, Classic Yacht, Classic IOR, and Historic Sails classes.
ASDEC AWARD for the boat that has remained in the ownership of the same family for the greatest number of years; documentary proof of the boat’s ownership by the same family is required.
MUSEO BARCA LARIANA for the oldest boat.
Competitive regattas between the different categories of vessels are held during the event.
In addition to the regattas, the gathering includes numerous side events such as conferences, exhibitions, guided tours of the boats, and gala evenings.
