More than 50 vintage, classic, and traditional boats have already registered for the 19th Vele Storiche Viareggio meeting, organized from October 17th to 20th, 2024, by the eponymous association together with the Club Nautico Versilia. A true open-air Floating Museum will be present on the dock, featuring centennial hulls like Alzavola (from 1924) or ultra-centennial ones like Tirrenia II (from 1914). The meeting represents the last seasonal event for the Mediterranean vintage sails fleet. During those days, three regattas will take place, along with a boat parade featuring an Elegance Contest visible from the Viareggio pier, a visit to the restoration shipyards, painting and photographic exhibitions, and the grand crew dinner at the Cantiere Navale Del Carlo.
