Dear ASDEC Members and Boat Owners,

We are pleased to invite you to the “Vintage Classic Yachting” competition, which will take place in the magnificent setting of Villa d’Este on Saturday, September 12.
All motorboats over 30 years old are invited to participate.

For the occasion, from September 9 to 19, a selection of prestigious boats from the collection of the Museo Barca Lariana will be exhibited in the park of Villa d’Este.

Program – Saturday, September 12, 2026

08:00 AM – 09:00 AM
Meeting point in the central lake area (near Villa Serbelloni) with the pilot boat for transfer to Villa d’Este.

10:00 AM – 10:30 AM
Mooring at Villa d’Este and welcome cocktail.

10:45 AM – 11:45 AM
Presentation of the boats displayed in the gardens, with a dedicated speaker.

12:00 PM – 01:30 PM
Villa d’Este Elegance Award: boat owners will parade with their boats before a jury, also demonstrating their maneuvering skills during docking in front of the marina.

01:45 PM – 02:45 PM
Lunch, brief speeches by the organizers, and award ceremony.

This year, two important awards are being introduced for the first time:

1. Villa d’Este Elegance Award
2. Award for a Boat of Exceptional Historical Significance
3. Award for the Person Who Distinguished Themselves Most During the Event
4. Award for the First-Place Winner of the Vintage Jole Regatta (to be presented at the end of the event).

03:30 PM – 04:30 PM
Closing of the event with the famous Vintage Jole Regatta (challenge between Museo Barca Lariana, Villa d’Este, and ASDEC), followed by the award ceremony.

Please note: the panel of experts from ASDEC and the scientific and technical committee of the Museo Barca Lariana will present special awards, as this event is dedicated to recognizing the importance of the boats, their history, and the skill of their owners. The Villa d’Este Award will consist of a trophy that will remain at the Grand Hotel, while a replica will be presented to the winner.
