The Verbano Yacht Club, one of the oldest Italian clubs (1895), will host us in its beautiful headquarters in Stresa, framed by the famous Borromean Islands. Since the early 1900s, the first motorboat races and the most important sailing regattas on Lake Maggiore were organized at Verbano.

The three days of the gathering will allow us to navigate the entire perimeter of the Lake; we will be able to admire the northern part of the lake up to Switzerland, we will push south as far as Ticino, and in Laveno, we will visit the Museo/Laboratorio delle Officine dell’Acqua.

The third day will be dedicated to visiting one of the three famous Borromean Islands: Isola Madre.

Isola Madre is of notable importance thanks to its botanical garden, rich in rare plants, exotic flowers, and free-roaming animals (peacocks, parrots, golden pheasants, etc.) which, thanks to the favorable microclimate, create the enchantment of a tropical greenhouse on the island.

The visit to the 16th-century Palace is interesting.
