ASDEC (Association of Vintage and Classic Hulls) is pleased to announce the opening of its new operational and representative headquarters in Milan: a hub for Nautical Culture. Located not far from the historic Navigli district, the beating heart of Milan’s waterway tradition, the Association’s new “home” is conceived as a living tribute to artisanal excellence and nautical design.
The venue stands out for a one-of-a-kind interior design project: much of the furniture and fittings have been crafted from fine woods originally intended for high-end boatbuilding. Stepping into the new offices means immersing oneself in a bygone atmosphere, where the scent of timber and the lines of the furnishings invite reflection and a celebration of beauty.
The spaces include a reception area for convivial dinners, a meeting room, and a functional operational office, all designed to encourage interaction among members and partners.
In a spirit of sharing and growth, ASDEC shares this prestigious location with the Museo Barca Lariana. The headquarters houses the entire ASDEC Historical Archive and the complete collection of publications produced over the years, making it a key reference point for research and the preservation of Italy’s nautical heritage.
The achievement of this milestone in an extraordinarily short time was made possible thanks to the dedication of the Board of Directors and the technical support of key figures such as Fulvio Orlando (Help Desk) and Studio Rossi (Business Consulting).
“This headquarters is not just an office, but a manifesto of our mission,” the Association comments. “A place where the passion for vintage hulls finds a stable and welcoming home in the heart of Milan.”
We look forward to welcoming you soon!
